Chicken BBQ Sunday to benefit Hanover Little League project

The Hanover Little League fence project has rounded third base and is heading for home with a Chicken BBQ fundraiser. The Silver Creek Firemen's Association is sponsoring the event at the Firemen's Club on Jackson Street in Silver Creek Sunday from 11:30 a.m. until sold out.

Tickets are available from any board member or by calling Liz Van Cheri at 907-5552 or Caroline Mullen at 432-4002.

There will be basket raffle and 50/50 splits. Eat in or take out available.

All proceeds will benefit the Fence Project at Ward Avenue.

Assemblyman Andrew Goodell to appear on Senior Report

Senior Report with Reed Powers will have Andrew Goodell as the guest on Saturday's television program. Goodell is the New York State Assemblyman for the 150th district. The live, call-in program airs from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturdays. Individuals may call 753-5225 during that time with questions, comments or a shout-out.

The program is rebroadcast each day at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. for some communities.

Pine Valley Community Choir Performances

set for Sunday

The Pine Valley Com-munity Choir will present its 25th annual cantata "A Walk to Remember" Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Leona Un-ited Methodist Church, plus a presentation at 7:30 p.m. at the Kennedy United Methodist Church.

A free offering will be accepted at both presentations.
