Catholic Charities of Buffalo will host an open house and reception March 30 from 3 to 5 p.m.to celebrate the recent move of its Dunkirk office and Chautauqua County Outreach, as well as The Child Advocacy Program, to 425 Main St.
Brief remarks will be made by Catholic Charities' and Chautauqua County Child Advocacy Program (CAP) officials at 3:30 p.m. and refreshments will be served.
The Dunkirk office serving northern Chautauqua County residents, which was relocated at the start of this year, is a first-floor space with convenient parking behind the building. Previously, the office was located on Central Avenue in the city.
Services offered at the site through Catholic Charities include basic and emergency assistance, counseling for all ages, Our Kids: Parent Education and Awareness program for parents experiencing conflict during divorce or separation, domestic violence offenders program, and Chautauqua County Outreach for seniors through friendly home, hospital, nursing home or telephone visits.
Chautauqua County CAP is a safe, child-friendly center that supports a multi-disciplinary investigative approach to child physical and sexual abuse allegations. The program also operates a Jamestown office.
