Pancake breakfast fundraiser today
The Fredonia All Sports Booster Club will be having a pancake breakfast at Applebee's on Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.
NRG Regional President to talk about company
ORCHARD PARK - Lee Davis, NRG regional president, is doing a brief informational meeting regarding NRG at the IBEW Union Hall, 3619 California Road, Orchard Park 11 a.m. Monday. The public is welcome to attend.
Documentary set for Monday
JAMESTOWN - The documentary film, "Don't Sell Our County Home" will be shown at Prendergast Library in Jamestown between 6 and 8 p.m. Monday. A public discussion led by a panel, which will include local filmmakers Karen and Roy Harvey, will follow.
The 30-minute film contains dozens of short interviews with County Home residents, staff, county legislators and others.
Business After Hours Wednesday
As part of the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce membership drive, the Dunkirk Community Chamber of Commerce will hold a networking event. It is free to Chamber members who register in advance and bring a non-member guest. Non-member guests who register in advance may also attend for free.
The cost for unregistered walk-ins is $5.
The event will be Wednesday from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Rookies, 19 Lake Shore Drive East.

Lake Shore plans home-buyer seminar
A free home buyer seminar will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. April 4 at the Lake Shore Savings Fredonia branch at 30 E. Main St.
Topics for the seminar include: understanding credit scores, prequalifying for a mortgage, applying for a mortgage, down payment requirements, closing costs, available mortgage products and programs.
Presenter for the seminar will be Patty Bertges, mortgage originator.
Refreshments will be provided along with a drawing for a free application certificate worth $225.
