Ball is the son of Martin and Janie Ball of Dunkirk.
The bride-to-be graduated from Fredonia High School and graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice/sociology. She is employed as a criminal records coordinator for LexisNexis.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Dunkirk High School and graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. He is employed as a state probation and parole officer.
