Three police cars reported to Woodrow Avenue near Second Street for a possible stabbing Sunday night.

Dunkirk City Police were at the scene of a possible stabbing today after 8 p.m. Three police cars reported to Woodrow Avenue near Second Street.

A neighbor who did not wish to be identified said he saw a man laying on the wooden pieces that function as a curb, and that the man was taken away by ambulance.

He said, "It seemed to be a stabbing, but that's all I can tell you."

A police officer at the scene said there was nothing he could tell the media at this point. He said a report may be issued later tonight.
