Holy Trinity R.C. Parish celebrated a traditional St. Joseph's table under the direction of their pastor, the Rev. Joseph Zalacca. It was a gathering of more than 550 parishioners and guests at the Msgr. Bernardo Hall.
The altar was constructed and decorated by Zalacca and his parents using their family heirloom linens from Sicily. Dinner opened with a Litany of St. Joseph followed by prayers. Some traditional meatless foods served included lentil soup, pastas (plain and sardi), assorted egg dishes (froggia), cardoons, fried vegetables, cannolis, cuchidati, sphinges and much more.
All guests were presented with a bag of pastries, St. Joseph bread, fruit and a "lucky" fava bean.

This event was made possible through the hard work of chairpersons George Civiletto and Lorraine Cole, assisted by several dedicated parishioners. "Viva San Giuseppe" was the joyous cheer exchanged by all.
