SILVER CREEK - Silver Creek High School announces its February Knights of the Month.
The first Knight of the Month is Megan Buchholz, age 15. Megan is a freshman and the daughter of Paula Ferneza and Bill Buchholz of Silver Creek. In school, Megan is on the soccer team and has participated in the Big Buddy program. After graduation, Megan would like to attend college. Her other interests include playing softball and drawing.
The second Knight of the Month is Justin VanRensselear. Justin, age 16 and a junior, is the son of Carol Happell and the grandson of Anna Happell of Silver Creek. In school, Justin is in the concert and jazz bands and plays four instruments. After graduation, his plan is to start his own band. His other interests include fishing, camping, jet skiing and boating.

The Knight of the Month is a student nominated by a member of the Silver Creek High School faculty based on many qualities, such as dedication, extracurricular involvement, leadership and behavioral and academic performance.
