Band members include mandolin player and vocalist Steve Strom, a gifted multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who comes from a family of talented musicians; Popular bluegrass and jazz guitarist/vocalist Steve Eng; and Upright electric bassist Mark Davis, who began his musical career as a keyboardist and fiddle player but now demonstrates his exceptional talents on the bass with his rhythmic and solo abilities.
With a 12-decade combined professional resume, the three musicians of the OD Jazz Trio each has performed in various country, folk rock, jazz and bluegrass bands at numerous venues throughout New York and Pennsylvania. This experience has not only produced a popular bluegrass band, but also this vehicle which showcases their versatility and passion for other musical genres.
They will be performing a host of Gospel favorites, as well as original arrangements.
