Canine Rescue to hold obedience lecture

April 7, 2012
The OBSERVER

WESTFIELD - Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue (NCCR) is presenting "Playing With A Plan" on April 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. This program will help owners learn to use play and games to engage interest and improve their dogs' love of obedience. The demonstration will show owners how to breathe new life into training, start out right with a new puppy or simply strengthen a relationship with a dog.

The guest instructor is Noelle Nasca, who has instructed pet obedience classes since 1997. Maintaining current knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques is paramount to her success as she attends numerous seminars and continually adds to her library to provide the most effective information. Her classes are geared toward individuals and families who want to establish manners, reliability and control with their pet.

The lecture will be held at the new Canine Learning Center, located at 7540 N. Gale St. in Westfield. The learning center offers classes, training and lectures on topics that help owners enjoy better relationships with their dogs.

There will be a $15 admission charge at the door. To register, call 326-PAWS or email LearningCenter@CanineRescue.org. This is a demonstration event: guests should not bring their dogs.
