One injured in motorcycle accident
HANOVER One man was injured as the result of a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck.
On Saturday, a motorcycle operated by Eric Larson, 27, of Versailles Road, Hanover, was struck by a pickup truck, operated by Michael Brown, 54, of Bartlett Hill Road, Forestville. Brown was attempting a left turn at the intersection of Versailles and Buffalo roads.
Larson was transported to Lake Shore Hospital by a private vehicle and then transferred to Erie County Medical Center by helicopter.
Methamphetamine lab raided
JAMESTOWN - On Friday, an arrest was made in the discovery of a methamphetamine lab and a quantity of the drug was confiscated.
Around 1 p.m., Jamestown police officers responded to the area of 10 Winsor St. to investigate a reported methamphetamine manufacturing lab. Investigators and patrol officers conducted a surveillance operation and identified Patrick T. Raynor, 45, of Jamestown, leaving the location. Raynor was found to be in possession of several components used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.
The execution of a search warrant followed and confirmed a methamphetamine lab at the location, and approximately six ounces of the drug were seized.
Raynor was taken to the city jail to await arraignment on the charge of third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, a Class D felony.
The Jamestown police Department was assisted by ALSTAR, the Chautauqua County HazMat team, Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department, Drug Enforcement Agency, and New York State CCSERT Team.
Police say the investigation is continuing and more charges will be filed in the case.

HANOVER - On Saturday, Sky S. Kelley, 23, of Central Avenue in Silver Creek was charged with second-degree harassment as a result of an incident that occurred on Thursday.
Kelley allegedly punched and scratched the victim during an altercation. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charge in Hanover Court.
CHERRY CREEK - On Saturday evening, Ian L. Pummell, 26, of Franklin Ohio, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated per se, open container and a loud exhaust.
The sheriff's patrol stopped Pummell's vehicle on Center Street in Cherry Creek for having a loud exhaust. Further investigation led to the other charges.
Pummell was released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to answer the charges in Cherry Creek Court.
Cattaraugus County Sheriff seeks help
LITTLE?VALLEY?- Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating the theft of scrap metals from the Allegany firemen's grounds. James P. Wilson, president of the Allegany Engine Company, reported to deputies that two light pole, 18 feet in length and constructed of 4 inch tubular steel, and several sections of chain link fence were stolen from the grounds. The items had been stored outside in the southwest corner of the firemen's grounds over the winter and were discovered missing in early March.
Deputies ask anyone with information contact Lt. David Schuman at 938-9191. All calls will be kept confidential.
State police at Jamestown
GERRY - On April 1, Jerome Sellers was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Sellers was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over for failure to dim high beams. The trooper making the stop reported he smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle. Sellers reportedly turned over a partially smoked marijuana cigarette. The trooper searched both occupants of the vehicle and reportedly found Sellers also had two bags containing marijuana.
Sellers was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Gerry Court. He is scheduled to appear later this month.
CARROLL - On April 3, Michael Miller, 20 of Frewsburg and Jeffery McFarland, 19, of Grosse Ile, Mich., were charged with second-degree burglary and possession of alcohol under 21.
A trooper responded to a residence where the complainant reported she caught the two in the residence she was looking after while the homeowner was out of town.
The investigator reported that the two men had entered the residence without permission and also stole and consumed alcohol from the refrigerator.
Miller and McFarland were arraigned in Town of Carroll Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
