Besides welfare recipients, who else gets a 10% hike?

April 12, 2012
The OBSERVER

Editor, OBSERVER:

Welfare benefits are going up 10 percent. I wonder how many taxpayers got a 10 percent pay raise this year. What was the Social Security raise? How many state workers were asked to give up their pay?

How can our representatives justify giving welfare a 10 percent increase? The next time you pay your phone bill, pay your way to the doctor's office, etc., remember how you're asked to continously give your fair share. A 10 percent pay raise - really?
