The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua announces that the Rev. Ronald Skowronski will speak on Sunday. In his sermon, Skowronski will explore the idea of forgiveness as a matter of nature or nurture. With the world at the now consistent brink of global disaster, Skowronski will ponder if forgiveness is a matter of fanciful religious idealism or a matter for the survival of the species. Is it possible to look forward to a bright future without forgiving the past? Anyone who has ever needed to forgive or be forgiven is asked to consider experiencing this timely reflection.
During the service, Religious Exploration classes for children in grades K-4 and Coming of Age for grades 5-8 will meet. Childcare for those less than 5 years of age will also be provided.
