Alicia Marie Speta and Matthew Donald Johnson announce their engagement. Speta is the daughter of Carol and Herb Johnson of Jamestown. Johnson is the son of Paula Gustafson of Gerry and Steven Johnson of Lakeland, Fla. He is the grandson of Wallace Cheney of Gerry.
The bride-to be is a 2002 graduate of Jamestown High School and a 2011 graduate of Jamestown Business College with an associate's degree in hospitality management. She is employed by Applebee's in Lakewood.
The prospective groom graduated from Falconer High School in 2000 and is employed by Painting Unlimited of Jamestown.
