Julie A. Gugino and James E. Huels of Dunkirk announce their engagement. Gugino is the daughter of Mary Anne Gugino and Mark (Linda) Gugino of Fredonia. Huels is the son of James P. and Cheryl Huels of Dunkirk.
The bride-elect graduated from Dunkirk High School. She attends Jamestown Community College where she is finishing work on an associate's degree in applied science in Medical Office Technology. Gugino is employed as a medical biller for Lakeshore Orthopedic Group PC.
The prospective groom, also a graduate of Dunkirk High School, earned degrees in computer and art design from Alfred State College in 2005 and graphic design from Bryant and Stratton College in 2008. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Huels is employed as a university police officer for Buffalo State College.
