Jose Antonio Padro, 34, of South Roberts Road, Dunkirk, NY died Monday (April 23, 2012) at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie, Pa.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY on Aug. 18, 1977, the son of Ana Santiago of Dunkirk and the late Jose Manuel Padro.
A Dunkirk resident for the past 34 years, Jose was an employee of The Resource Center.

He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by the father who raised him, Juan Agosto; his grandmother, Elba Segarra of Brooklyn, NY; and his brother, Angelo Echevarria of Dunkirk. Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
He was also predeceased by his grandfather, Mariano Santiago; and his brother, Archie Echevarria.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9:15 from the Newman Funeral Home Inc. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 o'clock in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
