Jerry and Jane Long of Jamestown announce the engagement of their son, Jordan Taylor, to Misaki Suzuki, the daughter of Takeo and Etsuko Suzuki from Hanyu City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Kuki Hokuyo High School and the Japan College of Foreign Language. She also studied at Cabrillo High School in Lompoc, Calif., as an exchange student. She is employed as a receptionist in a dental clinic in Saitama City, Japan.
Her fiance is a graduate of Southwestern Central High School and the State University of New York at Fredonia. He also studied Japanese at the Yamasa Institute in Okazaki City in Aichi Prefecture. He is employed as an English teacher at Imaizumi and Kamogawa Elementary schools in Ageo City, Japan.
