A 38-year-old Forestville man has died after a motorcycle accident on Route 5 in the town of Sheridan. According to WDOE-AM, Michael Case was heading east at a high rate of speed. Shortly after 10 p.m. Monday, a semi-tractor trailer driver reported a possible personal-injury accident involving a motorcycle. The accident occurred between Harrington and Newell roads. The Dunkirk Police Department, along with members of the Sheridan Volunteer Fire Department, were first on the scene. The driver of the motorcycle was later located down the side of an embankment on the south side of Route 5. Besides the Dunkirk Police Department and Sheridan Volunteer Fire Department, the New York State Troopers, Dunkirk East Town Fire Department, Alstar Ambulance Service, Dunkirk Fire and Rescue and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
