Forestville man, 38, dies in motorcycle accident on Route 5
A 38-year-old Forestville man has died after a motorcycle accident on Route 5 in the town of Sheridan.
Michael Case was reportedly heading east at a high rate of speed at the time of the incident. Shortly after 10 p.m. Monday, a semi-tractor trailer driver reported an accident involving a motorcycle between Harrington and Newell roads.
The Dunkirk Police Department, along with members of the Sheridan Volunteer Fire Department, were first on the scene.
Case was located down the side of an embankment on the south side of Route 5.
The New York State Troopers, Dunkirk East Town Fire Department, Alstar Ambulance Service, Dunkirk Fire and Rescue and the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department also assisted at the scene.
Fredonia Police
A Fredonia man has been arrested twice for incidents involving a neighbor.
Peter C. Wykstra, 49, of Holmes Place was charged with disorderly conduct on May 8. At 10:45 p.m. Wykstra was allegedly being loud toward his neighbor. He was picked up on an arrest warrant and later released.
Wykstra was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree criminal contempt on May 10. He was throwing eggs at his neighbor's car. He was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 property.
Joshua P. Roach, 19, of Ellicott Road, Brocton was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a stolen property May 8. He was brought to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office on an arrest warrant and remanded to the County Jail.
Daman D.M. Holland, 27, of Randolph was charged with forcible touching and second-degree harassment on May 9. Holland allegedly tried to touch the victim inappropriately during an incident on Day Street on March 24. He was turned over to Fredonia Police from Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office and released on $1,000 bail.
Taylor Page, 22, of Holley was charged with disorderly conduct May 11. At 2:10 a.m. Page was obstructing vehicle traffic by walking in front of a car on Water Street. He was released on an appearance ticket.
Luis Jorge Flores Mercedes, 18, of Brooklyn was charged with disorderly conduct on May 12. At 2:33 a.m. Mercedes hit a male near 35 Water St. during an altercation. He was released on $50 bail.
Elvis Soto Jr., 18, of Bronx was charged with disorderly conduct on May 12. At 2:40 a.m. police were standing on Water Street talking to two men regarding a previous incident. Soto came up to police yelling and was advised to leave but failed to do so. He was released on $50 bail.
Jeremiah F. Bretl, 27, of Buffalo was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment on May 13. At 12:34 a.m. Bretl allegedly punched another male inside Ellicottville Brew Company causing damage to the victim's glasses. He was released on bail.
Laurin M. Bekeleski, 23, of Falconer was charged with second-degree harassment on May 15. She reportedly punched another woman in the face at Sunny's on May 12 and turned herself in to police three days later. She was held on $1,000 cash or $2,000 property.
