SALAMANCA - In a season of ups and downs, Silver Creek ended its league schedule with a 9-5 win over Salamanca on Thursday in CCAA Division 2 baseball.
Kevin Rocque delivered at the plate and on the mound for the Black Knights (6-10, 4-8).
Rocque hurled a complete game with nine strikeouts and added a pair of hits in the win.
Tony Strong came through with the big blow, a three-run triple during Silver Creek's five-run second inning.
Todd Beattie struck out nine while taking the loss for Salamanca (0-14, 0-11).
Silver Creek travels to play Pine Valley, today in a non-league contest.
