A diamond 60th wedding anniversary for Marion and Mary Lou Pagano was celebrated recently. A papal blessing was bestowed on them by the Rev. Daniel Fiebelkorn, and the family celebrated with a dinner and cruise at Lockport Locks on the Erie Canal.
The couple was married on May 17, 1952 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Silver Creek in a ceremony performed by the Rev. Msgr. Edmund J. O'Connor.
They currently reside in Silver Creek and are the parents of four children: Franklin and Michael Pagano of Silver Creek, Marianne Bowers of Sheridan, and Louis Pagano of Arvada, CO. They are also the proud grandparents of eight grandchildren: Dan, Brittany, Kayla, Michael Jr., Miranda, Joseph, Emily and Samuel.
