Donald and Lois Franz celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on May 10 with an open house at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Rick Roos.
The 1947 wedding was held at Westfield Methodist Church.
Donald retired in 1987 from AL Tech as a mechanical technician. Lois was a homemaker.

The couple have three children: Linda (Rick) Roos of Cassadaga, Kristi Sellig of Eden and Steven Franz at the Chautauqua County Home. They also have six grandchildren: Ryan Roos, Erin (Rob) Booker, Brianna (Nick) Blaze, Katelyn Sellig, Tara (Frank) Gugino and Edward Franz. They have four great grandchildren: Reese Booker and Taylor, Tyson and Trenton Gugino.
