Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office

MAYVILLE - Two persons have been removed from the Chautauqua Coun-ty Wanted Person Program.

Thomas Putney, 47, of Jamestown was wanted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office for violation of probation. He was arrested and is currently in Chautauqua County Jail.

Luis M. Moreno, 22, of Jamestown was wanted by the County Sheriff's Office for third-degree burglary. Moreno was arrested and is currently in Chautauqua County Jail .

WESTFIELD On May 18, a warrant arrest was made of a Westfield man.

Around 4:35 p.m., Westfield Police were on patrol on South Portage Street. An officer observed Andrew Blynt, 19, of Westfield, in the front yard of a residence and was aware Blynt had four outstanding warrants from the Village of Westfield Court.

Blynt was taken into custody and arraigned in the Village of Westfield Court. Blynt was remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

WESTFIELD On May 14, two people were charged with possession of marijuana. Around 9:50 p.m., a Westfield police officer was on patrol behind businesses on East Main Street. The officer allegedly observed two subjects smoking marijuana behind a business. This led to Joshua K. Smith, 25, of Westfield, and Dana N. Grout, 22 of Erie, Pa., being charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. Smith and Grout were issued appearance tickets to return to the Village of Westfield Court.

Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office

DAYTON A Dayton man has been charged with multiple traffic violations as a result of a pursuit which began Dayton and ended in New Albion.

On May 13, Timothy R. Will, 25, of Dayton, was observed on a motorcycle with another motorcyclist speeding on Route 535 in Dayton.

Upon patrol turning around, the pair of motorcycles sped off. The pursuit proceeded down Mosher Hollow Road and ended on County Road 5 in New Albion.

Will was charged with third-degree unlawful fleeing, reckless driving, failure to stop at a stop sign, driving out of class and various speed violations.

The investigation is currently open regarding the other motorcyclist.

RANDOLPH On May 9, a Randolph man was arrested on a warrant issued from Fredonia. Around 4 p.m., Daman Holland, 28, of Randolph was taken into custody and turned over to Fredonia police for further proceedings.
