A Fun Night with a Hawaiian theme was sponsored by Lillian Saunders, June Beers, Colleen Paradis and Sue Slate. Teams were required to putt with whiffle balls for the round. Jill Muck had the least putts with 15 and Saunders had the most putts with 29. The longest drive winner was Michelle Crowell.

CONNEAUT, Ohio - Bill Merryweather and Ed Tofil each shot 82 for the low score in the Ohio Open at Windy Hill Golf Club. Merryweather was the overall winner on a tiebreaker, with Joe Michalski finishing one-stroke behind (83). Merryweather led the front nine with 40 while Tofil led the back with 38. Dave Franklin won the B Flight on a tiebreaker over Jack Griswold and Bob Roesler and Doug Keith was the C Flight champion. Winner of the Commissioner's Award was Greg Haase.
Untied birdies were recorded by: A Flight: Tofil (Nos. 1 and 12), Michalski (No. 11), Merryweather (No. 12) and Mick Dunning (No. 13); B Flight: Tim Walawender (No. 2), Roesler (No. 3), Franklin (Nos. 7 and 13), Gary Richardson (No. 9) and Griswold (No. 17); C Flight: Gary Haase (No. 3), Keith (No. 4), Dick Maggio (No. 11), Greg Haase (No. 13) and Angelo Leone (No. 15).
Closest to the pin were Merryweather (No. 2), Griswold (Nos. 4 and 16) and Dunning (No. 13). Top point winners were Griswold (30), Dunning and Merryweather (27 each) and Franklin (24). Tim Miller used a 6-iron to score a hole in one at Cassadaga Country Club during the Tuesday Night Men's Golf League on May 15.
Miller aced the 165-yard par-3 hole No. 17. The shot was witnessed by Don House, Tony Mangine and Pat Kelly.
