Julie Rose Hasson and George Echevarria Jr. of Fort Mill, S.C., announce their engagement. Hasson is the daughter of Barry and Marilyn Hasson of Rochester and Marcella and Matthew Murphy of Asheville, N.C. Echevarria is the son of Madeline Moreno and Jorge Echevarria Sr. of Dunkirk.
The bride-to-be graduated from Churchville-Chili Senior High School in 2004, attended SUNY Fredonia and graduated from the Erie 2 Chautauqua Cattaraugus BOCES LPN Program in 2008. She is employed by Royal Health Care as an LPN.
The future groom is a graduate of Dunkirk High School and is employed by Safelite Auto Glass as an auto glass technician.
