SILVER CREEK - The Silver Creek Central Middle School announces the Students of the Month for March. The students were selected based on the following criteria: strong work ethic, dependability, helpfulness, respectfulness and cooperation with others.
The sixth-grade recipients are Chad Yochum and Rachel Radack.
Chad is the son of Terry and Liz Yochum of Irving. Within school, he participates in intramural basketball and is a member of the Science and Technology Club and the Broadcast Club. Outside of school, he participates on a youth baseball league and a youth soccer league. His favorite activities include playing outside. His goal is to one day become an architect.
Rachel is the daughter of Andrew and Donna Radack of Silver Creek. Within school, she sings in chorus, plays the saxophone in band, and is a member of the Grapevine. Outside of school she participates on a youth soccer league and takes cheer and dance lessons at Collage Performing Arts Center. Her favorite activities include reading and running races. She is interested in one day becoming an orthodontist.
The seventh-grade recipients are Ivee Pagels and Jessica Daniels.
Ivee is the daughter of Matthew and Andrea Pagels of Irving. Within school, she sings in chorus, and participates on the volleyball, basketball, and softball teams. Outside of school, her favorite activities include practicing softball pitching with her father, going to the movies and hanging out with her friends. She hopes to one day become an accountant.
Jessica is the daughter of Thomas and Wendy Daniels of Silver Creek. Within school, she sings in chorus, and participates on the volleyball and softball teams. Outside of school, she participates on a youth softball league. Her favorite activities include reading, writing, and hanging out with her friends. Her goal is to become an author or a teacher.
The eighth-grade recipients are Michael Feldmann and Jaime Wise.
Michael is the son of Bernard and Eileen Feldmann of Silver Creek. Within school, he plays the trumpet in band, participates on the soccer team and is a member of the Natural Helpers and ski club. Outside of school, he participates on a youth soccer league. His favorite activities include hanging out with friends, snowboarding, and playing sports. His goal is to become a professional athlete.
Jaime is the daughter of Aaron and Jennifer Wise of Silver Creek. Within school, she participates on the soccer team. Outside of school, her favorite activities include running and playing soccer. She also enjoys riding her bike.
