Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Long

Sandra D. Dominick and Mitchell E. Long of Fredonia were united in marriage on April 7 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Dunkirk. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Pastor Thomas Lawton.

The bride is the daughter of Melvin R. Reynolds and the late Shirley Reynolds of Jamestown. The groom is the son of Frederick and Mary Ann Long of Dunkirk.

The bride wore a champagne-colored satin strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline, featuring a pearl and crystal sequin beaded bodice. She wore a floral headpiece with a tulle blusher and carried a bouquet of calla lilies and roses with accents of lavender.

Serving as maid of honor was the groom's daughter, Lindsey Ann Long of Fredonia. She wore a satin, strapless, knee-length, plum-colored gown with a sweetheart neckline and ruching on the bodice and front of the dress.

The best man was the groom's father, Frederick C. Long of Dunkirk.

The wedding reception was held at The White Inn in Fredonia.

The bride is a graduate of Jamestown High School and Buffalo State College, where she earned both her bachelor and master of science degrees in art education. She is employed by Bemus Point Central Schools as an art teacher.

The groom attended Dunkirk High School and graduated from Erie Community College. He received the American Board of Opticianry Certification and is a licensed optician in the state of New York.

The couple reside in their new home on Martha's Vineyard in Fredonia.
