Penhollow Disposal 5, South Dayton Yankees 0 - Penhollow Disposal, of Sinclairville, defeated the South Dayton Yankees 5-0, behind a Levi Moore home run and a pair of hits each by Robbie Penhollow and Chase McIntyre.

NC Concord plays FAST to scoreless tie

Pictured is Zoya Katta (5) fighting for possession of the ball with an unidentified FAST player. The highly defensive NC Concord vs. FAST under-14 girls’ travel soccer game ended in a scoreless tie. Alex Zentz held down the net for NC Concord while Morgan Dispense received the STAR player award. This week, the team travels to Randolph and Bradford.
In the Second game Penhollow Disposal defeated South Dayton Yankees 10-5. Anthony Rodriguez, Calob Hillman and Christopher Dutton all had home runs for Penhollows Disposal.

Dunkirk Men's Fastpitch
Larry's Cantina 12, Green Acres 3 - Larry's broke open a 4-3 game with a four-run fourth inning. Brian Kinney had a homer and triple to go with his four RBIs while Nick Luther, Steve Keyser and Austin Alonge each collected three hits.
Winning pitcher Joe Conti struck out eight. For Green Acres, losing pitcher Terry Frazier had a pair of hits, including a triple. Rick Zappie and Lane Wolf also added two hits each for Green Acres.
Rookies 15 First Ward Falcons 6 - Jeremy McAfee was the winning pitcher with four strikeouts, adding three hits, including a home run. Jake Porpiglia, Joe Wisniewski and Kevin Salisbury had three hits each for Rookies.
Tim Wdowiasz took the loss on the hill while collecting two hits at the plate for the Falcons.

Wednesday Morning Ladies Purple Posse League - The game of the week was least putts and most puts. Winners for least putts were: Linda DeJoe and Marica Casell. Most putts: Donna Allesi.
The Purple Posse will meet at 9:30 a.m., on June 13, and tee off at 10. The league is still accepting members. All skill levels are welcome.

Women Who Golf For Fun - The low score was recorded by Carol Kowalewski, and she was followed by Linda Hodorowicz. Jane Ellman took third and lead with the fewest putts. Tying for second in lowest putts was Hodorowicz and Theresa Leon.
The women will golf again next Wednesday, gathering at 8:30 a.m., and teeing off at 9.
The women are reminded that the June 20 event will be a shot-gun start. Golfing will then be followed by a luncheon at Wing City.
In the event of rain, golfers will still meet at the club house at noon and continue to lunch from there.

ParTee Girls - Carolyn Rawlinson and Susan VandeVelde shot the low gross of the night with 45s, followed by Lynn LaMattina with a 48 and Amy North with a 50. Rawlinson also had the low net of 28, with a birdie on No. 5. VandeVelde had a birdie on No. 8, with a net score of 32.
Other low net scores went to Brooke Sheesley (31) and Eileen LaPorte, LaMattina, and Lillian Saunders, who all shot a 33. Closest to the green on No. 4 went to Colleen Paradis.

Brocton-Portland Midget Football
Brocton-Portland Midget Football will be holding sign-ups on Friday, June 8, from 5-7 p.m., at the Brocton Elementary School bus ramp.
This is for football players and cheerleaders, boys and girls ages 9-13 (must be nine by Dec. 1, 2012 and still 13 on Aug. 1, 2012).
Registration fee is $60, plus participation in our league fundraiser. New players must bring a copy of their birth certificate. Any questions, contact Tara Morello at 467-4608.
Fredonia Boys' Basketball Camp
The Fredonia Central School Boys' Basketball Camp will be held Monday, July 23 through Thursday, July 26 at the Fredonia High School and Middle School gymnasiums from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cost for the Camp is $90. Applicants who sign up by June 22 will receive a $10 discount. The camp is open to boys entering grades 3 through 12. All campers will receive a camp T-shirt.
Each athlete is expected to arrive between 8:30 and 9 a.m. The camp will start promptly at 9:30 a.m. Athletes are expected to bring their own lunch.

Fredonia Sports Award Program rescheduled
The Sports Awards Program scheduled for today has been postponed and will be held Tuesday, June 12 at 6 p.m.
This change is necessary because the boy's varsity baseball team will be playing its playoff game today, thus conflicting with the original date.

Cassadaga Valley Midget Football
The Cassadaga Valley Midget Football program will be holding registration for players and cheerleaders on June 9-10 and June 16 from 4 to 5 p.m. under the pavilion at the Gerry Town Park.
Children who will turn 9 before Dec. 1 and who do not turn 14 prior to Aug. 1 may participate. Registration fee is $50 for one child, $75 for two or $80 for three or more children. Bring a copy of the child's birth certificate, name and contact information for child's physician and proper registration fee to the sign up.
