Man charged following incident at Applebee's

A man has been charged following an incident Tuesday night at a local restaurant. Dalton J. Harris, 25, of Las Vegas was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Sheriff deputies, as well as Dunkirk and Fredonia Police responded to a male at Applebee's restaurant refusing to leave and becoming belligerent with the staff at midnight. Upon arrival, Harris became disorderly with officers and had to be physically restrained. He was arraigned in the Town of Dunkirk Court and committed to the Chautauqua County jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.

CHAUTAUQUA On June 6, a Westfield man was charged with possession of marijuana and other charges. Around 11:30 p.m., John Zappella, 49, of Westfield was stopped on Route 394 in the Village of Westfield for speeding. Following the vehicle stop, he was found to have an open container of alcohol and a small amount of marijuana in his vehicle. He was issued appearance tickets for speed in zone, possession of marijuana, and open container and will appear in Chautauqua Court later this month.

MAYVILLE The Chautauqua County Wanted Persons Program has announced the removal of a name from the wanted list.

Joshua M. Dahlgren, 30, of Jamestown, was arrested by Jamestown police and taken to Chautauqua County Jail. Dahgren was wanted for violation of probation and is to be removed from the wanted list.

Silver Creek Village Court

Michael J. Cave, 31, of Irving, pleaded guilty to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $285.

Jordyn R. Daniels, 27, of Burgess Street, Silver Creek, was arraigned for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He was released on his own recognizance and returns to court Aug. 1.

Robert D. Dillenburg, 56, of Fredonia, pleaded guilty to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $285.

Stephen W. Dummitt, 50, of Buffalo, pleaded guilty to aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $285.

Christopher M. Meyers, 31, of Gowanda, was arraigned on second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and no inspection. He returns to court Aug. 1.

Anton Mikolic, 72, of Ontario, Canada, was arraigned on a property maintenance violation and was adjourned to Oct. 10.

Jason Rosas, 27, of Dunkirk, pleaded guilty to aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $385.

Aderin J. Russell, 22, of Cheektowaga, pleaded guilty to driving while ability impaired and was fined $560. His license was suspended 90 days.

Kirk Young, 38, of Gowanda, pleaded guilty to facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation and was fined $285.
