Blessed Mary Angela Parish Rosary Society
Blessed Mary Angela Parish Rosary Society met on Monday at St. Hyacinth's Lyceum.
President Martha Bialaszewski welcomed all and she and the officers led the recitation of the Rosary and prayers for ill and deceased members. The opening meeting prayer was read by Joan Zielinski.
Secretary Carole Schiller gave the minutes from the May meeting and Treasurer Lucille Bartkowski gave the financial report. Both were accepted as read by all present.
The June birthday of Rita Szot was celebrated and the attendance prize was won by Sandra Tapasto.
The yearly audit report was given by Loretta Szalkowski and Phyllis Mucha.
The Rosary Society is in charge of the girls and boys booths at the summer festival at St. Hyacinth's. Bialaszewski and Rita Cieslewicz are chairpersons.
The society picnic will be held on Sept. 10 at the Lyceum. Officers are in charge and members bring a dish to pass.
Father Nycz gave a brief talk thanking all for work done at the parish and asking members to remember Corpus Christi Sunday. The June 16 rummage sale and the Holy Name coffee hour will be at noon on June 17.
The closing prayer was read by Rose Gawronski.
Refreshments were served on tables decorated with vases of fresh flowers and a centered basket of flowers.
Committee members were Annabelle Reilly, Virginia Pasierb, Irene Rozumalski, Loretta Szalkowski and Jean Szot.
A social hour was held with a raffle and Bingo was called by Tapasto.
