Chamber board meets today
The Dunkirk Community Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly board of directors meeting at 4 p.m. today in the Lighthouse Ball-room of the Clarion Hotel.
Kathy Tampio, executive director of the Chadwick Bay Regional Development Corporation, will be a guest speaker. Refreshments will be provided.

Guitar concert
set in Fredonia
A performance celebrating "500 years of Music For Guitar" will take place Saturday at 7 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Fredonia.
Guitarist Peter Griggs will perform guitar music from the Renaissance to the contemporary at 25 Church St. A free-will offering is encouraged for admission.
Vendors sought
for Fredonia event
Fredonia History Days (formerly known as Victorian Dazzle) is accepting reservations for food vendors for the weekend of July 20 and 21.
Any business, individual or organization that would be interested in having a booth selling food items should contact festival chairman Todd Langworthy as soon as possible for more information. The event is operated by Festivals Fredonia, which is a partnership with the village of Fredonia, town of Pomfret and local merchants, volunteers, and organizations.
Portland Town Board meeting date changed
The Portland Town Board meeting has been changed from today to Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Portland Town Hall.
Stories, songs, crafts and fun on Friday

Crafters sought
for Fly-In event
The Dunkirk Rotary Club seeks crafters and vendors interested in being part of its annual Fly-In Breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon July 8 at the Dunkirk Airport. The club welcomes crafters who provide handmade crafts, fine art, gourmet food products. A limited number of indoor spaces will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Crafter booth spaces are $25 for a single 10- by 10-foot space or you may purchase a double space for $40.
