June 16, 2012
The OBSERVER

LILY DALE - There will be plenty to do in Lily Dale the first week in July. Two special events are planned, as well.

The first special event will begin with an "Evening With Spirit" by Peggy Rometo July 6 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Rometo will share her story of the discovery of her mediumship abilities and the acceptance of her intuitive gifts. She also will lead participants on a guided meditation, then reserve the remainder of the evening for her message work. On July 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Rometo will teach a class entitled "Bridging the GAP (God At Play)." This will be a hands-on experiential class allowing participants to get in touch with their ongoing intuitive communication receptivity. It will give those in the class a better understanding of the ability to receive information.

Rometo is an intuitive healer, medium and Reiki master, as well as an author. She advises her clientele, who range from Fortune 500 executives, philanthropists and world-renowned actors, on a wide array of concerns. To learn more about Rometo, go to www.peggyrometo.com.

The second special event is set for July 7 and features Native American song and dance by The Haudenosaunee Dancers. There is an admission charge for this event, which will be held at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Dance is central to Native American culture, used to celebrate, communicate with nature and the spirit, to teach, tell stories and to entertain. The dance group began in 1988 on the Seneca Nation Cattaraugus Reservation in Western New York. Most of the dancers are members of the Iroquois Six Nations.

Other workshops being held July 1-8 include: July 1-3, "Evidential Mediumship," Janet Nohavec; July 1-6, "Healing Mastery, Part I," Tom Cratsley; July 2, "Behold Your Heart," Jenny Garrison; July 2, "Back To Our Roots," Ahni Atkins; July 3, "Demystifying Cancer," Paul Atkins; July 3, "Meeting & Creating Your Own Guardian Angel, Tracy Moon; July 3, "The Missing Link of Spiritualism," Robin Reale; July 5, "Personal Enlightenment: Not Just For Budda Anymore," Mark Brown; July 5, "Sharing Spirit Energy," Gloria Weichand; July 5, "Creating A Fairy House From Nature's Gifts," M.K. Gaedeke Roland; July 6, "Opening The Door To Great Mysteries," Tom Newman; July 6-8, "Spiritual Insight Training, Part I," Elaine Thomas and Don Scott; July 6, "Endless Bodies, Timeless Minds, and the Akashic Records," John White; July 8-9, "Standing In The Light of Spiritual Healing, Phase I," Barbara Sanson.
