SILVER CREEK - Applications for the Silver Creek-Hanover Summer Youth Recreation Program are now available at the Village Clerk's office. The summer recreation program is sponsored by both the village and town and is open to resident children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old.
The program will start July 9 at 9 a.m. at the village ballpark. Completed registration forms with payment must be turned in to counselors that morning. A current immunization record MUST accompany the registration form. The program ends Aug. 17. A $30 registration fee is required for the first child and a $20 registration fee is required for each additional sibling. There will be an added charge for field trip expenses to be announced later.
Parents and caregivers are urged not to drop off children before 9 a.m. and must pick them up promptly at 3 p.m. Participants are required to show a permission slip from a parent or guardian if they intend to leave the program early. Children are urged to carry water bottles with their names on them. If it is raining before 9 a.m. the program will be canceled for the day.
