COLLINS Doris E. Bentley, 84, of Brown Road passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home in Springville, NY.
She was born July 27, 1927 in Orchard Park, NY, the daughter of the late John and Elsie (Kohl) Seig.
Mrs. Bentley was married to William Bentley, who predeceased her on De-cember 6, 2006.
She was a truck driver for Bentley Trucking for 28 years. She was a member of the Collins Center United Methodist Church and the Collins Draft Horse Club.
She is survived by two sons, John (Marianne) Bentley of Collins, NY and Thomas (Jean) Bentley of Maryland, and three daughters, Wendy (Kenneth) Wittmeyer of Springville, NY, Ellen (Jeffrey) Wilson of Collins, NY and Barbara (Alfred) Farner of Collins, NY and eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and 3 nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bentley was predeceased by a son Mark Bent-ley, a brother Robert Seig and a sister Lorraine Taylor and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 104 East Main Street, Gowanda, NY on Wednesday June 20, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home.
Burial will be in Collins Center Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Collins Center Volunteer Fire Department.
