FORESTVILLE - Michael J. Marrano, 60, of Round Top Road, Forestville, died Friday (June 15, 2012) at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Williamsville, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Gowanda, on June 3, 1952, the son of the late Victor and Rose (Kulheim) Marrano.
He graduated from Gowanda Central School and received his RN from JCC. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Marrano worked as a Treatment Team Leader for the former JN Adam Developmental Center, Perrysburg, for 34 years. He was a member of Cherry Creek Masonic Lodge #384, Phoenix Masonic Lodge #262, Gowanda, South Dayton American Legion Post #1593 and Gowanda VFW Post #5007.
Survivors include his wife Birgitta (Kielwasser) Marrano, of Forestville, a sister, Debra (Thomas) Leenhouts, of Hammond, N.Y., and two brothers, Victor (Michel) Marrano, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Frank Marrano, of Scap-poose, Ore. Also surviving are three nephews, Victor David, Christopher and Frank Marrano.
