The Dunkirk Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that happened Sunday night.
The incident occurred at 774 Central Ave. at about 10:40 p.m. Dunkirk Police said a resident in one of the apartments heard a knock at the door. When he opened the door, he was held at gunpoint by a subject while his apartment was rummaged through.
The subject did receive cuts to the face as a result of the incident. The police do not know at this time if the subject knew the victim.
