KIANTONE - No injuries were reported after a car struck a utility pole in Kiantone on Monday around 6:15 a.m.

Samuel Woodard, 21, of Jamestown, was the sole occupant in a vehicle traveling eastbound on Peck-Settlement Road when he fell asleep behind the wheel and struck a utility pole. Woodard was not injured. Kiantone Fire Department assisted at the scene. The investigation is continuing.

STOCKTON - A Stockton man was charged with speeding after losing control and overturning his vehicle Monday.

Around 5:55 p.m. deputies were on patrol on James Road and observed a two door sedan traveling at a high rate of speed approach a small bridge with an elevated bump in the roadway. The vehicle then went airborne and the driver lost control of the vehicle, crossed the center of the road into the opposite lane of travel and crashed into a ditch, where the vehicle overturned and came to rest on its top.

Deputies pulled the operator from the overturned vehicle and he was identified as Daniel Clever, 18, of Stockton. Stockton Fire Department and EMS assisted at the scene. Clever was found to be uninjured. Clever was issued a ticket for speed not reasonable and prudent. He will appear in the Town of Stockton Court at a later date and time.

HANOVER - Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle driven by Brittany L. Peterson, 21, of Fredonia Monday around 1:20 a.m. for crossing the white fog line multiple times. Upon investigation Peterson allegedly was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. Peterson was issued tickets for crossing hazard markings, DWI, and aggravated DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher. Peterson was released and will appear in the Town of Hanover Court at a later date.

HANOVER - Kyle Lang, 23, of Cheektowaga, was stopped by sheriff's deputies Monday around 6:10 a.m. for allegedly not stopping at a stop sign. Investigation resulted in Lang being charged with DWI, aggravated DWI with blood alcohol content of .18 percent or higher and fail to stop at stop sign. Lang was taken into custody and later released with tickets. Lang will answer the charges in the Town of Hanover Court.

JAMESTOWN - Jacob A. Matherly, 19, of Jamestown, was taken into custody on a warrant for violation of probation. On Sunday, Matherly was arrested by Jamestown Police and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.

MAYVILLE - Kendall E. Yeskey, 23, of Bemus Point, turned himself in for an outstanding warrant for fourth-degree grand larceny. He was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.

MAYVILLE - Brett M. Bisbee, 19, of Westfield, turned himself in for an outstanding warrant for robbery. He was arrested and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Dunkirk Police Department

Melissa L. Serrano, 25, of Townsend Street was charged with having no registration and no insurance on June 12.

Juan G. Serrano-Lafontaine, 24, of Deer Street was charged with violating the noise ordinance and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on June 13.

Ruthann B. Zrimsek, 63, of Silver Creek was charged with not having inspection on June 13.

Paige E. Kennedy, 18, of Gowanda was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana on June 13.

Kristyn M. Guido, 31, of Buffalo was charged with second-degree criminal impersonation and theft of services on June 14.

Tye A. Kenny, 28, of Brocton was charged with petit larceny on June 15.

Chad J. Lynden, 22, of Willow Road was charged with not wearing a seat belt on June 15.

Hiram Navarro, no age listed, of King Street was charged with obstruction of governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana on June 15.

Javiero Cintron-Agosto, 71, of Townsend Street was charged with disorderly conduct on June 17.

Angelina Osorio, 65, of Dunkirk was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign on June 17.

Elizabeth M. Bundy, 27, of East Main Street was charged with having driver's view obstructed, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and having no insurance on June 17.

Brian J. Woloszyn, 34, of Doughty Street was charged with third-degree facilitating aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on June 17.

Francisco Santiago, 29, of Antelope Street was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and second-degree harassment on June 18.

Josie M. Adams, 54, of Washington Avenue was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated per se on June 18.

Shaun L. Boyd, 32, of Lincoln Avenue was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on June 18.
