Registration for all summer activities will be conducted on the second floor of village hall on Friday, June 22 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, June 25 from 9 a.m. to noon. Interested residents of the Village of Fredonia and Town of Pomfret may register for the following programs: Neighborhood Playgrounds, Youth Swim Lessons, Tennis, Dance, Basketball Instruction, Drama, Sewing, Girls Softball, Spanish Instruction and Karate. Late registration will be accepted at program sites or at the Recreation Department, second floor, village hall. Program dates are subject to facility availability and may vary.
The Fredonia-Pomfret Recreation Department has offered programming in recreation and youth services for over 66 years. The Recreation Department sponsors and conducts a diverse year-round program of activities, events and services under the direction of professional supervision for all residents of the Village of Fredonia and Town of Pomfret.
Residents wishing additional information regarding Recreation Department programs, or to offer suggestions for future programs or services, are requested to contact the Parks and Recreation Department, located at Fredonia Village Hall between the hours of 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 679-2311.
