Monica A. LaSalle of Central Ave., Brocton, New York died Sunday June 17, 2012 at the Heritage Village in Gerry, New York.
She was 89 years of age, born in Dunkirk, New York on May 9, 1923, the daughter of the late Stanley and Ellen Niewolak.
A lifelong area resident, Mrs. LaSalle was a homemaker. She also operated LaSalle's Grape Farm on Martin Road with her late husband, Albin R. LaSalle which had been in the family's operation from 1925 to 2002.

She was a member of St. Dominic's Church of Broc-ton, New York and was a former member of the Brocton-Portland Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her son, Philip A. LaSalle of Fredonia, New York; her grandsons, Philip J. LaSalle of Dunkirk, New York and Timothy M. LaSalle of New Paltz, New York; her great granddaughter, Hayden A LaSalle of Dunkirk, New York,; her niece, Diana Doherty of Vero Beach Florida and a nephew. Tom Fern of Irvine, California.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Albin R. LaSalle, whom she married on October 15, 1947 and who passed away on June 4, 2002; her brother, Philip Niewolak and her sister, Isabelle Fern.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held Saturday June 23, 2012 at 10 a.m. from St. Dominic's Church in Brocton, New York. Private Entombment will be in the Holy Trinity Cemetery Mausoleum. There will be visitation at the Morse Funeral Home, Brocton, New York from 7-9 on Friday evening, June 22, 2012.
