Mark D. Semon

Mark Donald Semon, 51, of Brocton, New York passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at his home after an extended illness.

He was born in North Tonawanda, New York on December 30, 1960, the son of the late Franklin and Celestia Mesch Semon. He had made his home in Brocton, New York for the past 18 years.

Mark was a retired Corrections Officer from the Lakeview Corrections Facility of Brocton New York. He also belonged to St. Peter's Episcopal Church of Westfield, New York. Mark was an avid Montreal Canadiens fan.

He is survived by two brothers, Paul Semon of Erie, Pennsylvania and Franklin Semon of Reidsville, North Carolina; one sister, Mrs Kathleen Heidrich of Emporium, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Ronald Semon.

Friends are invited to call at the Morse Funeral Home, 51 Highland Ave. Brocton, N.Y. from 2-4 and 7-9 on Saturday, June 23, 2012 and at the Fretthold Funeral Home 1241 Oliver street, North Tonawanda, New York from 2-4 and 7-9 on Sunday, June 24, 2012.

Funeral services will be held from the Fretthold Funeral Home on Monday June 25 at 10 a.m. and the interment will follow at the Arcacia Park Cemetery.
