George W. Apthorp, 93, of Fredonia passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012.
A World War II veteran, Mr. Apthorp retired from AL Tech. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Dunkirk.
Predeceased by his wife, Joyce (Collins) Apthorp.
Survived by son, Roger Apthorp; daughter Sharon Apthorp; 4 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church in Dunkirk.
