Three Catholic Health Long Term Care facilities St. Vincent's of Dunkirk, Father Baker Manor in Orchard Park and Mercy Nursing Facility at OLV in Lackawanna have been named among the top 10 percent in the country for resident satisfaction, according to a report published by My InnerView, a division of the National Research Corporation. My InnerView offers a variety of survey tools and the nation's largest comparative database of more than 12,000 providers to help skilled nursing and assisted living facilities better focus on the needs of their "customers" and the senior care experience.
"The best way to know how we are doing in terms of quality and satisfaction is to ask the people who truly matter most our residents and their families," Christine Kluckhohn, president & CEO for Catholic Health Continuing Care, said. "Survey tools like My InnerView help our administrators measure our success against the top performing senior care providers in the country and strive to be among those providers."

The residents at St. Vincent’s of Dunkirk always provide a warm welcome to new residents.
Residents and their family members were invited to participate in the My InnerView survey, which measures such things as respectfulness and competency of staff, resident-to-staff friendships, variety of meals, respect for privacy and feeling of security. Based on the overall results of the survey, Father Baker Manor, Mercy Nursing Facility and St. Vincent's scored in the top 10 percent nationally.
"Results like this don't happen by accident," Kluckhohn added. "It takes a lot of hard work and dedication from everyone who works in our facilities. From the doctors, nurses, therapists and aides, who provide direct care, to the dietary, housekeeping and support staff, who provide delicious and nutritious meals and a clean and comfortable environment that feels like home."
An area leader in residential and senior care services, Catholic Health offer skilled nursing, assisted living, subacute rehabilitation, and adult day care services.
