Clara B. Doyle, 92, of Dunkirk died Wednesday morning (June 27, 2012) at St. Francis Nursing Home of Williamsville. She was the beloved wife of the late Howard Doyle, Jr.
On June 16, 1920, she was born in the Town of Portland, the daughter of the late Alexander and Clara (Lewicki) Bienko. Clara was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church where she served as a Minister of Prayer. A homemaker, she was also a pianist and had a great love for music. Her appreciation for nature was evident and she was an avid reader.
Survivors include her daughter Sister Mary Claire, CSSF, of Buffalo, her son, Eric Doyle of Niagara Falls and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in Holy Trinity Church. There will be no calling hours. Entombment will be in the Resurrection Mausoleum of Holy Trinity Cemetery. Arrangements are provided by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
