SINCLAIRVILLE - Dorothy M. Marz, 85, of Sinclairville, died Thursday, (June 28, 2012) at Buffalo General Hospital.
Born June 28, 1927 in Sinclairville, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Isabelle Kenney Anderson. A Chautauqua County resident all of her life, she was a 1945 graduate of Cassadaga Valley Central School.
Employed as a secretary/bookkeeper, she had been employed by the former Wilde Oil of Sinclairville, the former Dudley D. Waters Hardware of Gerry and the Town of Gerry.

Dorothy was a member of the Sinclairville Baptist Church. She enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching and housekeeping.
Wife of 64 years to Maurice C. Marz whom she married May 15, 1948; mother of Loren (Sharon) Marz of Talbott, TN and Brian (Justine) Marz of Johnston City, IL; grandmother of five; great-grandmother of six; sister of, Stanley (Noreen) Anderson of Gerry and the late Jean Marz, Kenneth, Merril, Donald, Warren and Helen Anderson. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday in Sinclairville Baptist Church, 9 Park St., Sinclairville. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Friday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Sinclairville.
