Chautauqua Opportunities, Inc.'s (COI) Youth Services Program will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) for the 2012 summer season.
The United States Department of Agriculture program is administered through the New York State Department of Education. It is an extension of the Free and Reduced School Lunch program and is designed to insure as many Chautauqua County youth as possible receive at least one healthy, balanced meal during the day throughout the summer months.
"This year COI has 19 sites throughout the north and south counties. There are three new sites in the south county, the Jefferson, Washington and Percell Middle Schools," Youth Services Director Matt Hamilton-Kraft said.
Meals will be provided based on eligibility to all children 18 years and under without charge. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and all activities are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. St. Hyacinth School, Dunkirk, July 9-Aug. 17, lunch: noon to 1 p.m. snack: 3-3:30 p.m.
Brocton Central School, July 9-Aug. 16, breakfast: 8:30-9:30 a.m. lunch: 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Camp Gross, Cassadaga, July 9-Aug. 10 lunch:11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. snack: 2-3 p.m.
Fredonia Central School, July 9-Aug. 17, breakfast: 9-9:30 a.m. lunch: noon-12:30 p.m.
LoGuidice Center E2CCB, Fredonia, July 2-Aug. 10 breakfast: 8:30-9:15 a.m. lunch: 11:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
