.....E. Marquell L. Marshall of Dunkirk, son of Tabitha M. Ruiz and Eddie Marshall, has been accepted to Edinboro University of Pa. His major will be Criminal Justice. Marshall attended Dunkirk Senior High School where he was a 3-sport athlete in wrestling, football and track and field and was also in T.V. club.....

.....Matthew James Robbins, son of Mark and Patty Robbins of Brocton, has been named to the Dean's List for the spring quarter at Rochester Institute of Technology. Robbins is a senior in RIT's College of Science studying Biotechnology.....

Miller majored in an individualized program for business and entrepreneurship..........Gracia Nash of Fredonia was named to Alfred University's spring 2012 Dean's List. Nash, an art and design major, is a junior in the School of Art and Design. A graduate of Fredonia High School, Nash is the daughter of Donald and Sarah Nash......

.....Fredonia native Crystal Lorenzo received the Outstanding Freshman Award from the President's Honor Society, Sigma Alpha Sigma, at Niagara University. Lorenzo, who just completed her freshman year at NU, was also the recipient of the Vincentian Core Values Award for Compassion. As a freshman, Lorenzo organized and formed a University Chapter of the national organization, To Write Love On Her Arms. After a lengthy process to gain official recognition from the college and the national organization, the UChapter of TWLOHA had more than 50 students interested in becoming involved. The mission of TWLOHA is to provide hope for those suffering with depression, addiction, self-injury and thoughts of suicide. Lorenzo is majoring in psychology and Spanish at NU.....
