A 13-year-old male has suffered serious injuries following an ATV accident Saturday.
At 2:35 p.m. Chautauqua County Sheriff Deputies responded to an ATV accident that happened on Southerland Road in the town of Hanover. The youth had been riding a dirt bike around in his yard until he lost control of the dirt bike. The youth fell off the bike and sustained apparent serious injuries. The victim was transported by ambulance to Lake Shore Hospital and was then flown by helicopter to Children's Hospital. The youth was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

HANOVER - On Sunday, a West Seneca man was charges with driving while intoxicated (DWI) and other charges.
Around 11:30 p.m. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies observed a vehicle with only one working tail light on Route 5 and 20 in the town of Hanover. Deputies stopped the vehicle and upon investigation the driver, David W. Schaper, 22, of West Seneca, was found to be intoxicated. Schaper was charged with insufficient tail lights, DWI, DWI per se blood alcohol content .08 percent or higher and will appear in the Town of Hanover Court at a later date.
JAMESTOWN - A Jamestown man was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after being found in possession of crack cocaine.
On Tuesday at 10:15 a.m., drug investigators from the Jamestown Police Department assisted New York State Parole Officers at 414 Jefferson St. with a check of several subjects. Investigators found Ryan J. Stills, 26, of Jamestown, to be in possession of 46 grams (1.65 ounces) of crack cocaine.
Stills was taken into custody and transported to the city jail to be arraigned on the charge.
