SHERIDAN A man was killed in a farming accident Tuesday evening.
Around 8:05 p.m. the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office was sent to a residence on Route 5 in the town of Sheridan for an apparent farm accident. Once on scene it was learned that a male had been pinned between farm vehicles. The male was extricated prior to deputies' arrival. Silver Creek EMS and Alstar Ambulance arrived on scene and transported the male to Lakeshore Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is continuing and the man's name has not been released.
