Time is running out.
The deadline for nominations for our annual Readers' Choice Awards is today at 5 p.m. Nominations must be received today through our Web site - www.obser-vertoday.com - or at our office on East Second Street in Dunkirk.
Nomination forms are available at our office or in the July 3 edition on Page A9.

On Wednesday morning, our annual special edition highlighting the Laurel Run will be hitting the streets from 6 to 9 a.m. The special edition is $1 with proceeds from the sale benefiting work-related projects for adults with disabilities at The Resource Center.
This year's Laurel Run events begin on Friday, July 20 with the run from Jamestown to Dunkirk and continue on Saturday, July 21 with the walk, run and numerous events in Silver Creek.
This is the 16th year of the Laurel Run and the 11th year of our special edition, which has raised more than $22,500 for research and area initiatives.
Special edition OBSERVERs, which will be sold in Dunkirk, Fredonia, Silver Creek and Brocton areas, will highlight the events of the Laurel Run and the Resource Center as well as the people who make it happen.
Special thanks - and gratitude - to volunteer city residents who continue to spotlight area yards and gardens in Dunkirk. The effort is no small task, but is highly read each week in the OBSERVER.
Skeeter Tower is responsible for helping with the article while Allen Hollander takes the photos of the yards. It is a small step - but major piece - to spotlighting some of Dunkirk's hidden gems.
