Dog Walk-a-Thon to be held Saturday

In the event of rain, the Pat McGee Memorial Dog Walk-a-thon at Point Gratiot, sponsored by the Lakeshore Humane Society, will be held Sunday, with registration from 1 to 2 p.m. and the walk to start at 2:15 p.m. Otherwise, the walk will be held as scheduled on Saturday, with registration from 9 to 10 a.m. and the walk to start at 10:15 a.m.

Gazebo Summer Concert Series

Fredonia's Gazebo Summer Concert Series continues tonight featuring Dave Yuen Show. The pop and jazz concert runs from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Barker Common Park. Those attending may wish to bring a lawn chair for greater comfort.

Forestville clerk's office hours changed

The Village Clerk's office in Forestville will be open only on Wednesday through Fridays regular hours until further notice. Call Mayor Charles Brewster at 965-4151 with any questions.

Free lunch program in Forestville

The free summer lunch program will run from July 9 to Aug. 10 Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Forestville Central School Elementary Cafeteria to any child under the age of 18.

There are no income requirements or registration. Children do not have to be a resident of the district to attend.
