For all the people who were celebrating about the Supreme Court decision on Obamacare, consider the consequences that will follow.
Most doctors are already disenchanted with government meddling in their private practices. Have you asked your physician(s) what they think of the Affordable Healthcare Act (ACA)?
Have you tried to talk to your doctor and noticed you don't have their attention as they are so busy typing information into the new, mandated, Electronic Medical Records system. Once the ACA is fully implemented in 2014 government rules and regulations will become much more intrusive and time consuming.
Add to this that doctor redisbursement by Medicare may be cut and at least 45 million people will be added to the system and a perfect storm will be affecting everyone. By adding all these people there is no way that the quality of care will not be compromised and there will not be rationing of care. One recent poll of doctors found:
90 percent say the medical system is on the wrong track.
83 percent say they are thinking about quitting their practice.
61 percent say the system challenges their ethics.
85 percent say the patient-physician relationship is in a tailspin.
65 percent say government involvement is most to blame for current problems.
72 percent say individual insurance mandate will not result in improved access care.
49 percent say they will stop accepting Medicaid patients.
74 percent say they will stop accepting Medicare patients, or leave Medicare completely.
Add to this the fact that this court ruling opens up a whole new panacea of taxes that government officials can use to control your life under the ruse of keeping you healthy. What you eat, where you live, how many children you have, where you work or owning firearms will all be open to their interpretations. Is this the kind of country you want to bequeath to your children? Has this - or any - administration shown the kind of character that they could be trusted with this kind of power? If your answer is in the affirmative you evidently have not been following the corruption taking place in Washington.
What has this president done since assuming office, or before, that would engender an iota of faith that he will not abuse the authority to tax you or use your most personal medical information against you? The administration is spending $881 million to hire 10,000 IRS agents to enforce this law or whatever else they want them to do. The congressional budget office has already said the ACA will cost twice what we were told. Knowing how government works you can at the least double that too.
If you can't find a doctor to treat you it won't make any difference if the government says you're entitled to health care or not.
